Top Instagram Spots in Beijing! Featuring The Forbidden City and more!

Beijing! One of the most
hectic and majestic places in the world, home to some
amazing cultural heritage a really long wall,
some amazing duck dishes and some of the most
iconic photo opportunities on the planet. Today, we’re gonna travel to some of the most
photogenic spots in Beijing to spice up our Insta-feed, let’s go! The Forbidden City is an amazing spot to take some really nice photos. I’ve been told it’s got over 9,999 rooms which is ridiculous and with the massive outer courts you’ll definitely walk away
with hundreds of photos. And if it’s a really clear day walk up the hill at Jingshan Park and get an incredible wide shot of the entire Forbidden City. This place is actually even
bigger than The Forbidden City. There’s so much to see here but the symmetry of the Hall
of Prayer for Good Harvest makes it one of the best spots
to take some great shots. It’s quite a drive from Beijing but this is my favorite
section of the wall it’s pretty quiet and you get some pretty good
compositions for photos. We’re in a hutong and they’re an essential part of Beijing. There are less of them
around now around nowadays but some of them are
incredibly picturesque so get lost amongst
them, and find yourself an authentic Beijing. Okay so this is a pretty cool place. The 798 Art District is a zone of 50 military factory buildings that have been changed into art galleries. Like you can still see
some propaganda slogans from Mao’s time, and I
think that’s pretty unique. So this one’s pretty different the CCTV headquarters also
known as the pants building is pretty unique. It shows a great contrast
between old and new Beijing. The Summer Palace and
the massive Kunming Lake have lots of photo opportunities and the 17 Arch Bridge is my favorite. And finally while you’re here why not take some pictures with the locals they’re super friendly, they’re socialites I just had the funnest ping
pong game with the locals so come down to the Houhai exercising park and if you’re lucky, you
might make some new friends. I was making a friend, but it’s hard.
