while descending I notice two dusky and one goldblotch grouper entering the same hole after some failed dives into the blurred and crowded hole, one dusky would finally give me the chance I was looking for… the goldblotch groupers in this place especially during August are very difficult to catch. even at hole spearfishing, skills are needed… I’m diving for a goldblotch that I marked, but a white grouper would change my plan… at moments like this, I don’t know who got hypnotized whom, me the fish or the fish me? while descending, I see something rare for this place, two big dusky groupers… the smaller one runs into the hole, but the big dusky (~10kg) stays calm, outside the entrance of the hole things look bad the dusky managed to hide its body behing the rocks, while because of the blur, I can’t see it in order to shoot it for a secong time without holding speargun this time, I will try to pull the fish I manage to unstuck the dusky and pull it a little bit outside, but yet I can’t see it because of the blur I pull the line to get the centimeters that I gained and I’m already planning my next dive… logically, if I get some more centimeters I will get the fish into my hands… I can’t see it yet, but it is coming… loss! a moment before I got it in my hands! I want to cry :'( returning to the surface I’m wondering what was my mistake… judging from the result, it seems that I overrated the shot, which proved to be not so good maybe I should shoot it for a second time, even if I didn’t see it the dusky won heroicly at this battle. I hope it didn’t hurted fatally we can not win in every battle only by being part of this amazing battle from the big fish, I feel lucky after all, the most important thing is to get back safe good returns to all!
