Our final days in Mexico Here we are on the neverending Fifth Avenue, called the Quinta in Playa del Carmen. It is a street filled with souvenir shops, clothing boutiques, cafés and restaurants, bars, clubs, everything you could imagine. The goal here is very simple: spend your money, spend your money, come here and spend your money! Hey, we’ve noticed we haven’t filmed much while we’ve been in Quintana Roo. Which is the region in Mexico where Playa del Carmen and Cancun are… But we just wanted to give you a little update. We’re not filming a lot because it’s honestly so boring! It’s boring! We’re currently going through a month of… of sh*t! Here is Playa del Carmen. This is the reality, my friends. If you think you can come here without a resort to go to the beach, well think twice, Because the resorts take up all the beach space for their customers. With lots of seats… And you aren’t allowed to sit on those seats, no of course not. Because the seats are for the resort customers. So if you want to come to the beach here well you’ll have to find a space in all of this chaos. The type of stuff that happens in Mexico! A restaurant had just opened in front of our apartment! It’s hot in Mexico, but at least there’s cheap beer. Mexican street performer He was pretty funny 😉 We a had a good authentic moment… With the Mexicans of Playa del Carmen. The kind of day that makes us happy in Playa del Carmen. So here is our last time… Visit to Walmart… Yeah, final uh…what’s the word? Expedition! Oh yeah. to Walmart… Last time. By the way we were going to Walmart like 5 times a day! (exaggerating of course) Good morning! This is part of our routine here in Playa del Carmen. We go to the grocery store. And I am eating a lot of bread recently. I like bread. Habaneros… This is your favorite hot pepper if you live in Mexico! The onions were on sale so we’re taking advantage of that. Anyway now Maya is picking out some guavas. It’s delicious. Indescribable. It’s crazy we’re eating guavas almost every day. Our last evening in Playa del Carmen. WEEEE! Hello everyone and welcome to Tulum! We decided to spend 3 days here before going to Cuba. There’s a taco scent in the air… You know you’re in Mexico. So yeah we’re currently in Tulum. We’re saying goodbye to Mexico here. It’s not like Playa del… Carmen. Here it’s much more relaxed. No Walmarts, no Starbucks, no McDonalds, We’re going to finally relax and eat tacos every day. Yeah, every day without exaggeration. Yes, every day, no joke! Now we’re walking around town. That’s what we like about Tulum, it’s much quieter here. The Mexicans are in a good mood. It’s hot but not too hot. Ohhh I’m going to miss Mexico! We found the church! Gab is putting his shirt back on and we’re going in. So just to show you…churches in Latin America are generally… …not very ornamented. They’re very simple. It is primordially a place of prayer. A religious place. People truly come to pray, and speak to God, Jesus, Mary, Joseph, or whoever they wish. First good night’s sleep since a month 😉 We’re officially leaving Tulum. We’re in a colectivo bus. We’re going to Cancun for our last night in Mexico. Tomorrow we’re flying to Cuba! We’re passing through Playa del Caca. We’re like… half nostalgic and half very happy to be finally leaving this place. We just got off the bus. It’s horrific to be honest. It’s horrible! White buildings, hotels, malls, what the… We just got to our airbnb in Cancun! It’s super classy. It’s seriously beautiful, I’m very impressed! Our last tortillas in Mexico. They smell good. Yep, our last trip to a tortilleria place. There’s a minor problem here… We ate so many tacos for our last dinner, that I have a stomach ache. I can’t even contain my stomach right now. I feel like I’m going to explode. Last breakfast in Mexico. We’re eating guavas. We’re afraid there won’t be any in Cuba. So yeah in case there aren’t any, we’re going to stuff our faces with guavas. As you can see, Maya is cutting them all up. So here is the result. A mountain of guavas! With some mango. And love. I’m excited to discover the fruit in Cuba! Apparently there are delicious mangoes there. We’re at Cancun airport! And honestly we’re really excited to arrive in Havana! We just got into the airport and they just came to us and asked where we’re going… We said “Cuba!” and they said “oh you need a visa!” So we ended up buying one for 20 USD. It was just weird because there wasn’t an office or anything… We paid in the end but it was just very unofficial. We have to go over there. It was very unofficial. Goodbye Mexico! It’s over! Adios! We’re leaving! Returning with Season 5 in Cuba! Subscribe 🙂 And thanks for watching!
