  1. Cute, cute card! Love it.
My most memorable/favorite gift, my darling husband proposed to me on Christmas day. It wasn't, showy, and no one else was around. I wasn't expecting it. Christmas day was almost over, it was quiet and we were talking about the day. Best moment in time.

  2. So cute! My favorite Christmas gift that I've gotten recently is a ticket to see Bob Seger on his farewell tour in Nashville. We live near Atlanta, but ticket prices are better in Nashville AND our daughter lives there, so we got to spend time with her as well. It was GREAT! I cried.

  3. Gorgeous card ❤️. My favourite gift for Christmas was my 72 piece Dewent Pencils, I must of been about 10. I still have them

  4. Love the card. When I was 19 I had the flu so bad at Christmas my Dad opened my presents and showed them to me while I laid on the couch. He had taken a picture of my cat, he enlarged it and mounted it for me. This was so typical of my Dad trying to help us feel better.

  5. This is So Adorable!! My brain has been busy thinking of how to get the ovals cut out so they would match up exactly right.. I might have to give it a try and see if what I'm thinking works. I have done the same as you did in making things fit like I want them to. It works for me! Lol I love the card!

  6. Very cute card! I see you were using a Gemini, wouldn't it cut through 2 layers of cardstock? You could line up your die and cut them both in the exact same spot at the same time.

  7. The best gift ever is my son, i got him the day before christmas eve, in Norway we open gift in the evening december 24

  8. Super cute… Most memorable sister came home to Dallas from NY. I had just had a bad car wreck and was still recovering. I cried when I saw her.

  9. First…. with abundant gratitude I thank you for so generously sharing your most amazing talent with us…
My sweet husband of 45 years passed away December 5, 2015. He gave me a life I could never have dreamed of…. so of all the many, MANY gifts God has bestowed upon me…. my loving husband was, and will always be my most precious gift❤️

  10. So dang cute! I saw this stamp set yesterday and I know I have to have it! Great tutorial.
My most memorable gift was the Christmas that I was pregnant with my first child. My Mom took the rocker I had as a child and refinished it and then took my baby doll that i also had and she cleaned her up, made a dress and knitted a sweater for her. She then put the doll in rocker and tied it with a big pink bow. My Mom was notorious for predicting all her grand babies (and usually was right) and she was convinced I would have a girl. The gift brought tears to my eyes. Sadly, I only had boys but that rocker and baby doll sat in my living room for ears. It’s a beautiful memory of my Mom and her kindness.

  11. Great idea for a card and so cute too! My favorite gift for Christmas was a set of candle sticks from my three young daughters, many many years ago.

  12. Other than my first born (my son) on December 4th,it was an 8 track tape player with a Elvis Presley tape when I was 14 and oh I love this card it is so darn cute.

  13. Best Gift i would say is me Kitty, Holly >^,,^<. she was outdoors, i got her in the house with some Thanksgiving turkey, she is now 14 !!!

  14. Kristina, I always look forward to your beautiful card tutorials! Everything you do is absolutely amazing! Thank you so much, I love how well you explain everything you do love while designing your cards! I’d have to say that my best Christmas gift/memory was the birth of my son on December 13. We lived at a lighthouse in Plymouth mass at the time he was born. Less than a week later we had channel 5 news and flying Santa at the lighthouse visiting us with everybody that lived out there, Plus family and friends!😊❤️

  15. My husband gave me a table top Christmas tree thirty two years ago after my second son was born close to Christmas. My first son was only 15 months old and we had decided not to get a tree that year because our life was too chaotic. He brought it home Christmas Eve and we decorated it together. One of my favorite memories.

  16. I have been married for 50 years. We got married at 17-18 years old. We were poor. My husband could not afford a diamond for me. After about 10 years, we were still struggling financially, but my husband took his Christmas bonus and money he had been saving and bought me my diamond ring. Amazing! He definitely was a keeper and I am grateful for him every day. I love this sweet card and the stamp set is so adorable with the front and backs of these critters. You are so clever. Thanks for the inspiration.

  17. What a lovely, imaginative card! My best present ever was an airline ticket to Spain to see my childhood best friend, that I hadn't seen in 38 years!

  18. OMG Christina, this is absolutely precious! I am going to make t least 2 of these ( one for each of my grandsons) for Christmas.
My daughter is a jewellery designer and my most memorable Christmas gift was a pendant made of our first grandsons fingerprint (cast in silver …. hers was cast in gold! 😉 Mine was a necklace and she made her Dad a tie pin of his little fingerprint. Needless to say, it is STILL very precious to us!

  19. Love this card !!! My most memorable gift Christmas Eve, our neighbors and their family came over and sang Christmas carols. We were honored they did this just for us.

  20. This is absolutely beautiful.  I've been debating between penguins and snowmen.  When I was little, I received a crawling baby doll.  My aunt worked in a toy factory and the dolls weren't even "public" yet, but she was able to get me one and "Santa" brought it…

  21. My most memorable gift was a Yorkshire terrier puppy! The kids and my mom surprised me with this adorable Pottery Barn Christmas stocking and inside was this adorable puppy! I will ever forget that moment. It meant so much to me and they made it so special. Best Christmas Ever!

  22. One of my most favorite and moving gift was from my son when he was about 17. He said he wanted to drive up to my parents a couple of days before Christmas to spend time with them. I didn't realize he was also working on my gift and needed/wanted my daddy's help (and tools). My son researched how to make a wind chime from aluminum pipes and surprised me with it at my parents' on Christmas Day. (My daddy thought you'd be able to hear it two miles away- but not really) It's about 5-6 feet long, overall, and currently hanging on my front porch– I LOVE IT. Sounds almost like an organ- it's just beautiful. I was astounded, delighted, and so impressed that he had done it himself! (similar ones I had admired at the Amish store and were ~$200….he knew I loved them.)

  23. A very cute card thank you it's give me a great idea to try out one thing I can remember getting as a small child was a brown Teddy bear I called him Bruno bear I still have him and I 49 now x

  24. OMGosh….that card is WONDERFUL!!!! When I was 10 or 11 my great-aunt gave me a metal Xmas tree holder….to say I was a little baffled as to why she sent me a Xmas tree holder would be an understatement. Being an organized hoarder, even as a child, I packed it away in the back of my closet. When I turned 18 I moved to my first home in November and like magic…I found the Xmas tree holder and was so excited!!! I am 72 now and I still get my tree holder out each Xmas and think so kindly about my Aunt Tillie. She gave me the perfect lifetime Xmas memory!

  25. ᴛʜɪꜱ ɪꜱ ᴍʏ ꜰᴀᴠᴏʀɪᴛᴇ ᴄᴀʀᴅ!! ʀᴇᴀʟʟʏ ʙᴇᴀᴜᴛɪꜰᴜʟ ᴋʀɪꜱᴛɪɴᴀ. ᴛʜᴇ ʙᴇꜱᴛ (ᴄʜʀɪꜱᴛᴍᴀꜱ) ɢɪꜰᴛ ᴇᴠᴇʀ ᴡᴀꜱ ᴍʏ ꜰɪʀꜱᴛ ᴅᴏɢ ᴀɴᴅ ᴛʜᴇ ꜱᴇᴄᴏɴᴅ ʙᴇꜱᴛ (ᴄʜʀɪꜱᴛᴍᴀꜱ) ɢɪꜰᴛ ᴡᴀꜱ ᴍʏ ꜱᴇᴄᴏɴᴅ ᴅᴏɢ. ᴀʟʟ ᴍʏ ᴅᴏɢꜱ ᴀʀʀɪᴠᴇ ʜᴏᴍᴇ ꜰᴏʀ ᴄʜʀɪꜱᴛᴍᴀꜱ 💕💕

  26. Ingenious way to utilize those stamps. My best gift on Christmas was when I received a Barbie doll astride a horse figurine (I love horses). A friend pointed out to me a few years later that it was actually a figurine of a baby horse…

  27. Love this card, and it’s actually very timely! I was just getting ready to do a window card myself.
It’s hard to think of my favorite gift, since I’m so grateful for everything, and I do enjoy giving more than receiving. When I was a kid, I wanted a Barbie dream house. Now, my dad grew up very poor, so we were always frugal when I was growing up. So he built a dollhouse by hand, and my aunt made all the miniatures and decorated the house. They bought little dolls to go inside. I LOVED that dollhouse so much. It got lots of love and play time. I think that was my favorite gift.

  28. That’s such a sweet card. One gift I remember with particular fondness was in 2006 when my husband bought me an iPod. I didn’t think at the time that I would really use it but I’ve used it SO much over the years and got so much pleasure from it. My husband died last week at the age of 63 (he had advanced Parkinson’s) so this Christmas will not be easy. 😢

  29. What an adorable way to use this stamp/die set!!! So cute!
You may want to try Jennifer’s way to cut 2 of the same shape in the same place….place both pieces of cardstock together & run thru your machine. The 2nd one won’t cut, but there will be an indentation where the die can be placed. 😉😉
Best holiday gift ever is the “reason for the season”…..Gods gift to us all!
    Thank you for your card.

  30. Cute Card! I love watching all of your videos. I think my favorite Christmas gift is the gift of "time". That's the perfect gift for me, it doesn't cost anything and I get to spend "time" making memories with my loved ones.

  31. Darling card! Thank you so much for sharing! One of my most memorable was the year my husband asked what I would like for Christmas and I told him a new muffin pan. He said "a muffin pan"? I told him I really didn't need anything but a muffin pan. So Christmas came and he handed me a gift, I opened it and there was my new muffin pan and in each compartment was gift cards! All my favorite craft stores, Bath and Body Works etc.,. Very creative and so much fun!

  32. I love this!!! My most memorable gift was last year and it was a family of snowmen ornament. We adopted our first child last year and it said mommy, daddy and Brodie under each family member 👪❤️

  33. I can't think of my favourite gift. I get money every year so I buy all the "nice to have" craft items I have saved over the year.
I love you idea for flip cards. I have a few and now I'm going to give this a try. It's so creative.

  34. Easy Bake Oven! This was a LONG time ago, they were fairly new to the market and I wanted one so badly, I think I squealed 😁 and my little brother got a really awesome train set that year. I try to give my grandkids gifts that make them squeal and dance, it's hard work being the fun Grama! I just ordered this stamp set yesterday, cant wait to play with it, love love love your card idea!

  35. I am 46 years old, but I still remember so vividly the Christmas I was 5 and got the Barbie Dream House! I wanted one so badly. Back then it was just about 4 cardboard sections separated by plastic columns, and the elevator was yellow and to raise of lower it there was a string to pull. Not nearly as fancy as the ones they have today!

  36. My mum dads house was the one the whole family gathered in ants, uncles, grandparents ,you get the idea a house full . So my dad got into a paintings frenzy, out came the white
paint just to touch up the woodwork he said ready for the visitors. My sister and I knew it was Christmas very soon. So the smell of paint brings back my childhood. Hugs from the.

  37. The most memorable gift would have to be a single blue and orange marble my little brother gave me. I was 7 and he was 4. It was the first thing he gave to me on his own. Placed in a cherry blossom box wrapped in gold foil. We traded it back and fourth every Christmas from that year on for the next 20 years. He passed away at 26. It has been preserved in resin epoxy (with the box). That marble is my most treasured Christmas gift and sits under my tree, front and center for the past 11 years.

  38. My most memorable Christmas gift was a song that my brothers wrote and recorded for me. It was a difficult time in my life and they made something meaningful and creative and sweet and personal for me. I cried when I listened to it the first time – and many times after 😉

  39. The best gift ever was when I was a child I would get a new baby doll for Christmas. I loved the smell of a new baby doll. ; )

  40. This card is absolutely wonderful!
One of the most special gifts I received for Christmas was when Mom gave me the framed collage she'd made of her wedding pictures. It had the only pictures she had of her and Daddy when they married in December 1952.

  41. First, I love your cards. My favorite gift came from both my parents when I was 7 years old, 1961. My father made a small wooden box just large enough to hold my Barbie dolls and my mother filled it with all handmade clothes for them, knitted and sewn. I’ve always cherished the gifts and the love they represent. I still have the clothes and dolls locked away in my special holder.

  42. I remember when I was a small child, I got a special teddy bear from my Uncle. I named him Timmy. I still have this bear in my attic. I just can't part with it. Happy Holidays !

  43. A really cute card! I love your holiday card series every year. My favorite gift was a gray faux fur shawl/wrap when I was 7 years old in 1960.

  44. As always, love this card, Kristina! Always happy to have our family together on Christmas. We eat and play board games.

  45. Cutest card!! The best gift i received for the holidays is now…my son is sober and clear-minded, and is recommitted to Christ💗 No better present!

  46. I love this card…it's so cute!
My most memorable Christmas gift was the look on my mother's, and dad's, face when they came down the stairs and saw their first-ever Christmas stockings! I was lucky enough to have gotten a lot of overtime that year, I was 19 and the OT was triple time! I spoiled everyone! I couldn't tell you what I got for anyone except for those stockings for her and dad! Being poor it was more than enough to have a couple gifts under the tree, never a stocking. Mom was so excited! It's a memory that it does my heart good every time I think of it!

  47. I love this card & wait un-patiently for each of your YT card videos to come out. My best Christmas gift will b this year's: my dear hubby's healthy once again after a Veteran's Day surgery to beat another bout of cancer.

  48. So nice to see a different way to use these dies! Thanks for sharing this awesome card. Not my best Christmas gift ever, but maybe most memorable was my very first Cricut. It started my love for making cards. That was 10 years ago 🙂

  49. Oh my! This is adorable! Love penguins. They are my fav winter/Christmas character.
I don’t know if this is my favourite Christmas gift, but certainly one of the most memorable. When I was about 12 years old, both me and my sister got a big stereo each. Record player, cassette player and radio. We were SO surprised, because we already thought we had got so many great gifts. That was a wonderful and musical Christmas.

  50. I adore this card and loved seeing you figure out how to put it together! Great alternative use of this stamp set. I was very blessed with generous grandparents when I was young (my folks were pretty broke) and kind aunts and uncles that gave me lots of books that I loved. As an adult and grandmother, my favorite gift has become buying gifts for others in my family that they need or want, and doing charitable giving as there is always so much need.

  51. I love the way you used this stamp set. Such an adorable card. Loving this series of Christmas cards. My birthday is Dec. 20 and I always swore I'd never do that to a child of mine because your birthday kind of gets lost in the Christmas festivities. LOL. My daughter was born on Dec. 21 (so much for that promise) and my grandson was born on Dec. 26. Both great Christmas gifts.

  52. Very clever! I know you use white gouache quite a bit. Could you use white acrylic paint (watered down) with the same results?

  53. Absolutely adorable. My favourite Christmas gift is the time I spend each year with my family and friends. I'm living abroad and this time of the year I'm coming home to celebrate with them.
All the best for upcoming Holidays.🌲❄

  54. One year when I was little I really wanted a Barbie doll. We didn't have a lot of money so I didn't know if it would happen. I think one of the last gifts I opened was my Barbie and she had THREE wigs…a deluxe set!

  55. Beautiful work. You are my very favorite youtube channel. Do you have a video on the gemini diecutting machine you use? If so could you direct me where I need to go. If not I would love to see a tutorial video as the manual diecutting is getting old for old me lol.

  56. Growing up in England our tradition was to have Goose for Christmas Dinner. My best Christmas gift ever was my Dad telling me that we would be having chicken for dinner that year because I had befriended (and named) the goose he was fattening up for the feast! Mickey remained my childhood pet and protector for many years to come, followed later by her son Gus! I LOVE your work.

  57. Great card! I think some of Jennifer Maguire engineering skills have transferred to you! One of my most memorable Christmas gifts was a guitar from my parents when I was 12. I had been begging them to get me one because I wanted to learn how to play but I didn’t think they ever would. It was considered a bit of an extravagance at the time. I was so excited! I learned how to play and continued playing for many years – and used it when I worked as an elementary school teacher.

  58. Amost 14 years ago my middle son was born on the 28th of December. This is my most blessed gift I've ever received in the holiday season, both my other 2 sons were born in May and June.

  59. My most memorable holiday gift was seeing and hearing my son’s heartbeat for the first time on Thanksgiving Day. I had to go to the hospital for complications and ended up getting the most unforgettable Thanksgiving gift ever. He is now 13 years old. Thanksgiving is always a special time for our family.

  60. When I was about 8, I stopped believing in Santa Claus. There was a gift for me under the tree on Christmas morning that had my name on it, but not the sender. It was the first Doctor Doolittle book in the Hugh Lofting series. Nobody claimed to send it to me, and so it gave me just one more glimmer into the mystery of Santa Claus. I'm pretty certain it was my Dad who put it there, but he never told me, and I never asked. I still have that book.

  61. OMGOODNESS I absolutely love these cards and stamps….on my wish list. Love your videos wish I had discovered you sooner…thankyou

  62. My best Christmas present ever was my daughter, Sarah, born Christmas Day 1971. Thanks for playing the Leahy song, I love listening to that talented family.

  63. I love how this card came out, Kristina! Thank you for showing an alternate way to use this stamp set, other than just a flip card, for which we might not have the required die. I really like your watercoloring on the penguins. Probably my most memorable gift was when I was 8 & got a Barbie Dream House. My mom got it at a Toys R Us on Christmas Eve. I assume so I wouldn't find it before Christmas morning, or maybe because it took her & my dad that long to find one available. She wrapped it in newspaper–the comics pages, of course–because we didn't have wrapping paper wide enough. Daddy was a radio announcer, so he always had to work Christmas morning. That morning, my brother came running into our living room where I was, yelling that there was a big box in the office. Mama–whose job it was to keep us occupied until Daddy got home–somehow managed to distract both of us and averted disaster. LOL It ended up being the last gift any of us opened that day. Daddy brought it in the living room after we had opened all our other gifts, and I bounced around it on the floor. When I unwrapped it, I squealed! I remember it said on the box that it would provide years of enjoyment, and I exclaimed (after I saw those words) that I'd enjoy it for years! And I did. Thank you for sharing your artwork, Kristina, and have an awesome day! 🙂

  64. Love the card! My son was a December baby (born 2 wks late 12/18) but probably the most lasting gift was the year my sister gave me my first Donny Osmond record. I think I was 14 maybe. Still my favorite singer and so many memories of the wonderful people that became friends because we shared an interest in the Osmond family and their music.

  65. Kristina, this card is so adorable and creative! Love your card design…. thank you! My husband gave me diamond earrings one Christmas! My favorite present ever.

  66. One of my best friends and I each told the other we hadn't been able to get the first choice gift for the other. And those preferred gifts were exactly what we got each other. "You LIED to me!!" Oh, what fun that was!!

  67. Great card. Husband bought me a T-shirt of my favourite book, he usually just gives me money to buy something so the gift was super special 🤗

  68. My best gift ever was the look of absolute joy when my 5-year old daughter opened a "Fairy Wishing Doll" that she was obsessed with and that we had convinced her was a very poor investment.

The star on the wand would light up when you touched it to the doll, I think there was a star in the doll's headband that would light up as well. We had many conversations about how easy it would be to lose the wand, that it would be short-lived as there was no way to replace batteries or light bulbs, that she would be bored with it before Christmas Day was over. Compared to the longevity of craft supplies or books we had intellectually convinced her that it wouldn't be a very practical gift. But of course, she continued to gaze longingly at the catalogue entry for the doll.

The look on her face when she opened it, was priceless.

Decades later, every Christmas she would place the doll under the Christmas tree and make a point of showing us that the wand was still around, and still worked. It became part of our family tradition, to check out if the Fairy Wishing Doll still worked.

Now that I've remembered this, I'll have to fish it out and see if it still works. My daughter died in 2017 and I think I'll be a bit pissed if that wand still lights up. Maybe I'll just leave it alone in the decorations box.

  69. Adorable card! It’s funny, I know I’ve received wonderful Christmas gifts over the years. However, I truthfully have to say the best gift I get is to experience the joy on a family member’s face when they receive a gift they love from me. I guess it’s simply the joy of giving I adore.😊

  70. Adorable card! I have received many wonderful Christmas gifts over the years. But I think getting to experience the joy on a family member’s face as they open up a gift I gave them is the best gift I receive each year. Simply the joy of giving, corny as that sounds.

  71. Can't believe how cute these little guys are and I love the way you used them. My best gift was when I was 12 and Christmas morning the tag said "open me first". It was a little Brownie Star Flash camera so I took pictures of Christmas all morning feeling all grown up and being a reporter. Those are the only pictures we have a family Christmas. In February my father died and the only sort of memories the littler kids have are because of my camera. I was so excited then and am so grateful now.

  72. Really sweet card, Kristina! Great inspiration! I don't think I had one all-time favorite gift, I just loved all the hustle and bustle of a magical time of year.

  73. Such an adorable card – my best Christmas memory was when my oldest daughter no longer believed in Santa unless she received a sleigh bell from Santa's sled. My sister-in -law created a card and got an old sleigh bell and left it on the mantel addressed to her from Santa. Needless to say my daughter believed in Santa for a few more years!!
